Gathering Note 
I saw Morlot in his first appearance with the SSO and enjoyed the concert thoroughly. It was one of the first concerts where I really saw how badly the Gerard Schwartz had lost the confidence of the orchestra. The musicians followed Morlot with a closeness and attention that Schwartz never drew. This is a really fine choice.
