The new release of “As I Crossed a Bridge of Dreams” by Péter Eötvös features Oregon Symphony’s resident conductor Gregory Vajda, who directs the UMZE Chamber Ensemble. The music is inspired by a Japanese classic that was written a thousand years ago by Lady Sarashina and contains her reflections on a woman’s life.
